need help!

My name is Ian Hoffman and I manage the site healthyhappywell.com
I would like to place a few AddThis Social Share buttons on specific areas of my website so that visitors can post our articles to their favorite social media platforms but I have a Joomla site and after installing the plugin cannot figure out how to customize the button sizes and locations. I have read through your support section but for some reason (probably my own lack of experience) the codes do not seem to be working for me. I would ideally like to use both the horizontal 32X32 size and pill style buttons, each with Facebook Share, Twitter, Google +1, and AddThis icons only. I was also wondering if it is possible to place these share options under a video embedded in my website to share that to Facebook directly.
