Counter updates on click not share?
Is it standard behaviour for the addthis counter to update when the user clicks on one of the buttons rather than when the page is actually shared?
As it is, the share can be cancelled by the user, but the counter will still update. I can't give a URL at this stage, but I'm using the standard addthis code with no modifications.

Yes, that's the standard behavior. We're looking into how to implement the counter only incrementing if the user goes through with the share.
