Chrome issues?

I can't seem to make my custom settings stick using Google Chrome. I only have a select trio "Sharing Services" on the "Customize Your AddThis Sharing Menu" page that opens up after right-clicking my AddThis toolbar button. However, no matter what, when I access the AddThis context menu it continually shows the entire list of default services selected when I installed this extension (despite the configure page displaying my custom list).

I'm currently running the latest Chrome (ver 20.xxx) with the latest(?) AddThis (v 2.9.9) and I'm pretty sure the last few updates of Chrome I had the same issue with.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this issue getting looked into?

And since I finally took the time to voice one frustration, I'll include that I sincerely wish the 255 character limit for the textbox on the AddThis "Email a "Friend" page is either expanded, or at the very least, includes an active countdown when typing. I can't tell you how many times I had to attempt to re-share a page over and over with only the vague error that I exceeded the character limit because I attempted to write a few sentences along with my find. This textbox desperately needs updating, one way or another.
