Separate profile for iOS app?

I'm creating an iOS app to view content from my website, which already uses AddThis. The app will use the AddThis iOS SDK for sharing content from my website. I'm wondering whether it makes sense to create a separate AddThis profile for shares from within the app.

I'm concerned that this will split the analytics data for shares from the web vs. shares from the app, so I won't be able to get a complete picture of which content was shared.

One the other hand, I want to be able to identify which content was shared from within the app, and what was shared from the website.
