Missing AddThis buttons on certain browsers

Hello,

We noticed yesterday that the AddThis buttons on our site (www.karlbayer.com/blog) are missing in certain browsers. I ran the site through browser simulations at browsershots.org and they were present on some, missing on others. We should be seeing them on the sidebar of the blog and under each post. I checked the sourcecode and nothing has changed. Can anyone suggest a fix?

Thank you!

Which browsers isn't it showing up on?

Hi Paul,

When I share on Chrome/IE, the share only shows on Chrome/IE (and none of the other browsers). It seems to work (share count updated on all browsers) when I do the share from FireFox.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I'm not able to duplicate the issue. I tried it in all the browsers supported by AddThis and the buttons are displaying and the share counter is incrementing properly.

Hi Paul,

Could it be that I do not fully share it? Meaning that I click on the share on Twitter for example. The twitter window opens up, but I do not actually tweet the link. It tells me "Shared Succesfully" and the count is increased in that browser, even if I didn't actually share it.

Thanks,
Luis

That would be the problem. Unfortunately we don't have a way yet of verifying that someone shared the link instead of just opening up the sharing interface.
