Parameters Error sending a request

I'm trying to use the API requests but I receive a not valid parameters error, even if I use the example that are posted in the API documentation.
After sending the request, I have to log in with a username and a password. Are they the sames that I use to log in me in addthis?

Yes, those are the same ones you use to log into AddThis.
