Cookies set by addthis

marketing Jun 26, 2012 12:13PM EDT

I want to provide my client a list of cookies and what they do in accordance with the Law.

I found the following thread however not all cookies are mentioned. http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/questions/220623-cookies-set-via-addthis-buttons

I also found there to be: "_atuvc" and "_utmv" - could you please provide a description of these?

Many thanks,
Euan

The __atuvc cookie is created and read by our JavaScript on the client side in order to make sure the user sees the updated count if they share a page and return to it before our share count cache is updated. No data from that cookie is sent back to AddThis and removing it when disabling cookies would cause unexpected behavior for users.
