Hi - I have problems with using AddThis in a Wordpress blog.
I am using the sharing button builder here:https://www.addthis.com/get/sharing
This produces code like this:
<!-- AddThis Button BEGIN -->
<div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style ">
<a class="addthis_button_facebook_like" fb:like:layout="button_count"></a>
<a class="addthis_button_tweet"></a>
<a class="addthis_button_google_plusone" g:plusone:size="medium"></a>
<a class="addthis_counter addthis_pill_style"></a>
</div>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://s7.addthis.com/js/250/addthis_widget.js#pubid=glasgowduo"></script>
<!-- AddThis Button END -->
I have added this to my blog page editor and published the page. This is the result: http://screencast.com/t/QUMrKBVh8R
The buttons stagger down the page instead of lining up.
I have tried this with variations on the code and the result is always this stagger effect.
This is a brand new blog installation of the latest version of Wordpress (3.4).
I have 2 active plugins:
Jetpack 1.3.4 by Wordpress.com [installed with WOrdpress]
Premise 2.0.4 by Copyblogger [installed to create landing pages - like the one I published here]
I did also try your AddThis plugin for WP but the buttons do not show up even when I change settings to show buttons on pages. I have assumed this is because Premise-style landing pages are different from standard Wordpress pages? I also would want to precisely place the position of the buttons on my page which I cannot see how to do using the plugin (even if the buttons did show up).
So, I'm all out of ides on how to make this work. Hope you can help?
Thanks!
