where to put the code
Im not quite understanding all of this, and how it works. I understand there is a code you have to copy, and paste onto the page you want tracked, but where on your Facebook page do you put this code, and doesn't other people see this code when you put it on there?...please help!!

Unfortunately since Facebook doesn't allow external JavaScript on its pages you can't put AddThis code on a Facebook page.
