FJ Related Component Blog and ValAddThis
Hi,
I am using Joomla 1.6. My website is www.palermoprotocol.com
I have been trying to add the ValAddThis Facebook and Twitter custom tools to my articles and I have experienced a problem with it is used in conjunction with FJ Related Articles Blog and List Component. My problem is that the Facebook and Twitter buttons don't appear when used with this component. I have noted other strange behaviour too:
1. If I use the ValAddThis plugin and apply it to Featured Articles (ie make them appear on the front page) then the Twitter and Facebook Like values are the same for all articles. So if somebody tweets one article the number 1 appears in the box of all articles on the frontpage.
2. I figured that the ValAddThis plugin was my best shot at success since it is a content plugin. But it doesn't appear when used with FJ Related Articles Blog and List Component.
3. I reverted to the module version, but there is no location to assign since I want the toolbox to appear at the top of all articles (articles don't have positions thus I can't use this).
Any thought on how to get this working would be appreciated.
