Customizing AddThis to header in Wordpress

I have seen from an earlier post that one could change the header.php in Wordpress and integrate AddThis in the header.
May I kindly ask if this is possible and if so get some help to the css?

I'm afraid we don't have the time to give you specific help in customizing your theme but, yes, you can add AddThis to your header.php file instead of using our WordPress plugin.
