Twitter Follow code gets striped in WordPress plugin "Custom Button" area

Hi guys – great job with everything.

In the WordPress plugin "Custom Button" section, I am finding that the code for the Twitter Follow button gets removed: i.e. – tw:screen_name="twitter_username"

Per instructions via http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/articles/125651-set-twitter-user-in-follow-button#.T7xh1Y49WE4, I copy/pasted both individually and within a toolbox.

In summary, after Saving Changes, the code goes from:

<a class="addthis_button_twitter_follow_native" tw:screen_name="twitter_username"></a>

to…

<a class="addthis_button_twitter_follow_native"></a>

Can you repeat this on your end? Is it a known and intended result?

Thanks when you can!

p.s. Instructions here: http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/articles/125511-using-a-custom-button#.T7xjOY49WE4 explain the custom button section of the WordPress plugin.
