Claims of limited reporting across multiple websites

I work as a consultant for a large web presence that has approx. 130 country sites (55 english only, rest with english + extra language sites).
We are exploring possibilities such as AddThis for sharing on our sites but have a concern about the reporting.

I have read that AddThis has limited reporting compared to ShareThis, for example.
The claim is that several accounts are needed if you want separate statistics per website.
Is this true?
Or doesn't Domain filtering provide this?
As you can see, we would need to get reports filtered across multiple domains and language sites.

Thanks for clarifying.

There are three levels of segmentation when it comes to AddThis analytics: Domains, Profiles, and Labels. A domain can belong to one profile, but one profile can belong to more than one label.

By default, every user gets set up with one profile. Any analytics that are collected with that profile ID are separated by domain, though you can view analytics at a profile-level. You can create multiple profiles and separate your analytics by placing different profile IDs on different pages or sites. (However, you can only have one profile ID per page.)

Profiles can also be shared with other AddThis users. So if you are managing a site for a client you can give that client access to only that profile ID or any number of profile IDs you want.

Labels allow you to segment your analytics in a way that matches what data you want to collect. For instance, you could create profiles for different genres of media such as "Sci Fi Books," "Sci Fi Movies," and "Sci Fi Video Games" and put them all in the "Science Fiction" label. And since profiles can belong to multiple

Hey Bruce, sorry for the delay in getting back to you!

What Paul meant to say was that since profiles can belong to multiple LABELs, you can slice and dice your data however you want.

For #2: yes, those domains would report separately, but there would also be an option to view all those sites stats rolled up.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Kori
