Feature Request: Shorten Links Using Specific bit.ly User Account (username and API key)
It would be very helpful to be able to get analytics for what I've *shared* with AddThis, by allowing the automatic shortening to go through a specific bit.ly account. When one is logged on to bit.ly, URLs that get shortened are associated with the account, and one can get the number of click-throughs for every shortened link. So, what I would like to be able to do is put my bit.ly username and API key into the add-on/mobile app settings, and AddThis would use those with bit.ly to shorten the URL and associate it with my bit.ly account in the process.
These metrics are so important for those of us sharing lost of links through something like Twitter. Who need these metrics, especially on the phone, where copy and paste of URLs into bit.ly and then going to a site like twitter is much more cumbersome than on a desktop. I am really surprised this isn't supported.
I really hope you consider adding such a feature in a future version, because this is the only thing about this add-on/app which limits its usefulness for our work, where metrics are a necessity.
