File not found...
I read with interest the recent posts regarding the "file not found file://s7.addthis.com/static/r07/sh078.html" error message when testing pages locally. According to Paul the "Happiness Assistant", this is because of protocol changes at the AddThis end. The only way around the problem being to set up a local server for testing or to test everything on-line.
This is not great news for those of us who have been perfectly happily testing pages without the need for a local server set up for many years and I am afraid that in this case Paul you are failing to make us happy with your explanation.
As a Dreamweaver user it is normally quite simple to hit F12 and view the page quickly in my browser. Now it sits there chugging away for a considerable time before finally throwing up the error message. Very disappointing.
