Viral lift is the ratio of shares to clicks. A share is when someone shares your content to a social network, and a click is when someone uses that shared link to visit your site. There's not really a good way to increase it besides using the audience metrics to inform your content decisions so that your content is more interesting to the people seeing the links on social networks.
