Pinterest Button Not Working

theblondcook Feb 22, 2012 09:46AM EST

I recently read that Pinterest had been updated for Wordpress this month. I created a custom toolbar, adding "Pinterest Pin It". It is not working. The button displays, but in Firefox there is no image. When I tested it & tried to "Pin It" anyway, nothing posted to my board. In IE, there was only an option to log in with no image also. Am I doing something wrong? I have a new blog and REALLY want to get on the Pinterest bandwagon, as it is helping traffic for lots of people. HELP please!

You need to set the pi:pinit:media attribute to the URL of an image on your site.

Can you post a link to your page?

Hi.
Unfortunately, I have completely the same problem. All buttons in my Wordpress custom toolbar seem to work except the Pinterest one.
Here's the link to my blog: http://bit.ly/wIwBMT
Could someone please explain what it is that I'm doing wrong? I'm not an expert on these matters.
Thank you, Kate

Thank you for your reply but, as a Wordpress beginner, I don't know where exactly to place it. It sounds somewhat complicated to me... Shame. But thanks, anyway!
