Google Analytics integration for email sharing

I have added addthis to my emails as discussed here: http://www.addthis.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12522

How does one go about adding google analytics integration into sharing from emails?

Unfortunately because emails don't use JavaScript there's no way to get Google Analytics information about sharing from emails.
